High income - earns $83,180 vs. $70,810 for the resale home shopper, Visits on average 11 new home communities before making a purchase. And today's new home buyers will pay a premium price for their dream home. In fact, they spend an average of 22% more on a house than buyers of existing homes.


Media sources are a key component to the buying cycle: on average, your customer will spend more than 5.5 months shopping for their home. So it's critical to keep your communities in front of them, online and in print.

Those shoppers interested in purchasing new construction spent an average of 24 hours looking at new home publications.
On average, shoppers buying new construction spent more time online - 41 hours - than those buying an existing home.
