ONE CHERRY LANEHow do you develop a unique concept for an upscale residential community within the heart of an established metropolitan area—namely, the Denver Tech Center (DTC)? The secret, says Dusty Wishmier, marketing director of Esprit Homes, builder of One Cherry Lane, is research. “We conducted many focus groups with our target customers,” she says. “People who already had larger high-end homes, who were looking for the same level of quality but didn't want 5,000 to 10,000 square feet on large lots. We asked them what lifestyle they anticipated, what they wanted to see in the interiors and exteriors. We conducted extensive studies, and then refined our floor plans, exteriors and surroundings.” The result was One Cherry Lane, a gated community sheltering 79 residential sites for home designs that range from 2,788 square feet (at a starting price of $1,150,000) to 3,996 square feet. Each home is freestanding with its own beautifully landscaped front yard. Front landscape maintenance is part of the residential amenities package. And these amenities are impressive. They include a swimming pool area with a luxurious cabana for warm-weather enjoyment. Come winter, snow is removed from all walkways and driveways. Also, a guard is on duty 24 hours a day at One Cherry Lane's entry gate. “Many residents,” observes Wishmier, “have second homes or travel a lot for business. So they can leave without as many concerns.” Just as One Cherry Lane provides a sheltered luxury environment, so does each ranch and main-floor master-style residence allow a life of absolute comfort. Exteriors express a classic, timeless elegance through brick or stone and stucco, stylishly accented with wrought iron. Spacious interiors with lofty ceilings feature a wealth of details, including 10-foot-high fireplace surrounds and hardwood and wrought-iron railing; gourmet kitchens with Viking® appliances, built-in gas grills, wine coolers, granite slab counters, and Irpinia® cabinets; baths with Kohler® fixtures, marble slab counters, and travertine tile floors; and floor plans that effortlessly flow through Andersen® windows and sliding doors into courtyards and patios for gracious outdoor living. A resident can personalize the home by finishing the full basement. Beyond One Cherry Lane's gated confines, excellent shopping and dining options as well as the businesses of DTC are conveniently located close by. No wonder that the first two phases, totaling 45 lots, are already moving quickly since the models opened last November. “The homes are so beautiful and unique,” says Dusty Wishmier, “that people have just fallen in love with them.” |
